sailing the skies~~
Since the PSO days I haven't felt as much fun as I'm having playing the new Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising, it is a fighting game based on the characters and universe of Granblue Fantasy the No1 mobile game in Japan.
The character are super lovely but what impressed me the most is how they decided to implement a whole lobby to meet and greet everyone and play matches but at the same time theres a space for Soccer, for the Minigames, Claw Machines in a little arcade area and I think they will soon add a Fishing Area too.
I'm very glad to feel once again a lively lobby system since the PSO/PSU days haven't felt that way, specially as most MMORPG games nowadays are very single player like or, barely anyone talks in them so it feels you are always playing with bots and NPCs.
I've been playing it religiously since it came out in december and I just keep getting destroyed but just for the lobby aspect of it encourages me a lot to keep trying. Plus I needed a new fighting game urgently...
It's been such a pleasant surprise, so now I need to decide how to tackle both games at once...

About writing...
I used to feel ashamed of not being able to write in English properly for a while, and as I grew older I still do horrible mistakes here and there, but one thing is for certain, in the "Perfect World" the people want to think the AI will bring to us, the fact nothing is ever symetrical or perfect is where the human charm lies, and we surely gonna miss imperfect stuff, in this case, this horrible writing I'm doing now for this post.
But hey! is not an excuse I will try my best to begin improve my writing too! (pinky promise)

My life in 512 MB
Over the years, and specially since 2020 I started to enjoy more being less on the bleeding edge for everything including computer systems and "embracing tradition" in more basic computing and low-spec machines.
This is one of the reasons why I decided to set up this server as a place where I can just go back to the basics again, the way I used to do, the way I used to have fun with more than 20 years ago...
So found this cheapo VPS that cost me like 5 bucks a month and I was like, "Can I commit to pay for this in the long term???" "Will it be useful for me somehow??" "or im just throwing money that I don't have away??" but then, thanks to this little machine I've been able to embrace a completely different way of doing computing, learning Linux, System Administration stuff and also learning old(new for me) lower level languages such as CGI, SH and PERL which I find them more useful and robust than living in the sandbox Javascript actually is.
How limited I was, and now suddenly also having to set up and work on the PSO server and running services like this blog all in such a small footprint of 512MB RAM, it kinda helped and encouraged me push through and earn my first humble certifications in Linux System Administration so I can achieve a more stable job than dying in what is the hell of the usual Web Development with endless unfair interviews, office politics, unreasonable deadlines, etc.
I really want to get away from all that and just focus on maintaining your computers and systems running in the background without you ever noticing it....

I just hope I can still bring food to my table...

I really really wanted to have my own blog and I had to scour the latest bits of the Internet trying to find a suitable system, and I guess this one works!
Well Nice to meet you!! name is Maria and I'm the owner of the Kiyomizu.moe server! currently many of you might know me by my another name Nol in the PSO circles, as I've been stealthti... steah...... stealthlly?... stealth running the private PSO BB server that many of you probably had already checked by now.
But today over here I want to focus on the things I'm gonna write about, you see, I like to talk a lot, maybe I like to talk too much so sometimes I just want a place where I can actually RANT and SCREAM or just talk about random shit whatever I feel like it.
